LOCATION
We are a real business with a real studio space. No sneaking around and meeting you at coffee shops or in some basement. We provide photography services anywhere in the Midwest, across the United States and through Europe. We have clients down through southern Illinois and also up in Madison Wisconsin. You can schedule a phone consultation or come into our studio for an in person consultation with the owner. Our studio is located in Chicago; conveniently close to many major highways. We are located on 34th and Halsted and provide photography service to the greater Chicago area. We are only 10 minutes from Lincoln Park and Bucktown, 25 minutes from Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates, 30 minutes from Oak Park and Naperville, and 50 minutes from Libertyville and Gurnee.

SIZE DOES MATTER
– We operate a small studio, which allows us the flexibility to provide individually tailored client services. You will never experience the large corporate feel of the big studios. Our customers rave about our products, our friendly photographers, and our ability to make each client feel special. Every email is personal opened and responded to by the owner and lead photographer.
CUSTOM – We personally ensure you get the best quality service and products. We do not outsource our editing of your sacred memories. Everything is handled in house and with care. Our book publishers have been tested and have provided us quality albums for years; we even use them for our own personal books.
PETS WELCOME – We would love for you to have your canine or feline buddy join you for your portrait session. Want your dog in your wedding ceremony? Great! Just tell us and we’ll help capture your dreams!
EXPERIENCE - Our studio is comprised of a small group (count us on one hand!) of very talented photographers, each with their own style of photography. Our lead photographer (also trained as a photojournalist) has been in the photography industry for over 13 years (working for other photography studios since 1996). She started her own company in 2004 and you will tell from your first meeting that this is her true love and passion in life. Agnes has personally worked with and trained her staff to bring that same passion and love to their work. Each trained photographer has at least 5 years experience and has worked extensively with Agnes on weddings and portrait sessions. Combined, our trained staff has well over 35 years of experience!
CUSTOMER SERVICE - When you email Avonia Photography, we will respond to your personally and quickly. No more waiting for weeks to hear back from a photographer. Our studio owner handles all of the client consultations and hand assigns the photographers to each session and each wedding. We are not a large photography studio where you meet with a consultant, the secretary and then the assistant and meet your photographer on the day of your wedding. You have the choice to request the photographer you want, pending availability. You receive one on one customer service. MOBILITY ON LOCATION – Much of our work is done either in studio or at outdoor locations. We do a great deal of work at clients homes, in public parks, at golf courses, and many other venues. Our professional and durable lighting and backdrop setup are mobile and portable. We can set up directly in your home (requires a space of 10x10) or wedding venue of choice. Ask us out about the details!
IMAGE VIEWING&SECURITY- Our photography work is all digital and all housed on line. Additional passwords are available on request to view "hidden" and personal folders. Every client has the option to request their session be locked by a password.
ABOUT YOU - We want to meet you and get to know about your photography needs in advance. What kind of photography did your sister or cousin have at her wedding? What do you want your senior portrait to say about you? Are you quirky? Fun? Stoic? Composed? Traditional? Do you want to have a jaw dropping and tear inspiring wedding album or a more traditional set of prints to tell your wedding story? We want to give you the best possible images of your wedding or portraits. Tell us what type of photography services you want - photojournalistic, traditional, mix of photojournalism and traditional posed images. We suggest our clients let us know their preferred style and bring to the consultation clippings from photos they found in magazines.
ART AND CHIQUE – Our photographers work with families, brides and groom, and professional models. Ask us about the types of images and poses we offer. We can give your wedding poses "flair" and help you create a unique look to your wedding album that is strictly your own. Want original senior portraits which will may you the envy of your friends? Tell us and we can set up the shot that is strictly your style. You'll be the envy of all of your friends! Ask us about our modeling techniques and how we can design a signature wedding or portrait session just for you. Of course, this is optional; we have years of experience doing traditional wedding photography and family portraits.
MULTI-LINGUAL – We have a Polish speaking Photographer . Mowimy Po Polsku. Some of our clients prefer having a photographer who speaks in their native language (Polish). Our lead photographer is fluent in written and spoken Polish (and of course English). This allows for us to more freely converse with the grandparents, parents and families from Poland.

VARIETY - When you hire two photographers for your event or wedding, one is able to concentrate of the main attraction while the other photographer can capture the things going on in the. A second photographer allows our lead to concentrate on the critical special moments and must have images, while our second (photojournalistic) photographer can capture the emotions happening away from the action. Samples of a photojournalistic image are photos of dad crying while he gives his daughter to his son in law, mom and dad holding hands during the ceremony, the bride and groom walking down the isle, and children playing while the adults pose for a portrait. Having a second photographer allows you twice the chance of capturing your special day – some images posed and traditional and some images artistic and creative. Both photographers are trained in both styles.
