This afternoon our Wedding Photographer met Beth at her parents’ house in Fox River Grove Illinois. Scroll to the bottom of this blog or click here for a link to the online gallery.
The bride was looked beautiful in her lace dress and photographed like a model against the lace window treatments.
We took photos inside the house and then a few additional photos outside near the fence and at the picket fence. The weather was warm and humid so our outside time was fairly limited.
Next, our photographer met the groom and the groomsmen at Ridgefield-Crystal Lake Presbyterian Church located at 8505 Church Street (in Ridgefield), Crystal Lake, Illinois, 60012. Given the ultra hot Chicago summer weather, we could only handle a few minutes of outside weather. And thank goodness for modern amenities like air conditioning inside the church.
Shortly after formal family portraits with the groom and his immediate family, the wedding ceremony commenced. The bride looked gorgeous as she walked down the aisle with her father. There was not a dry eye anywhere in the church. The ceremony was perfect and was followed by a bubble ceremony as the couple left the church.
After the ceremony and formal exit, we held family portraits at the front of the church with both the bride’s family and the groom’s family. Then we did formal portraits with the Beth and Justin in the front alter and then in front of the church.
Along the way to the dinner reception we stopped at Veteran Acres Park, located at 330 N Main Street, in Crystal Lake, Illinois 60012 (which is part of the Crystal Lake Park District). Before the heat got too high, we stopped for wedding bridal party photos along the pond. The trees were in full green and the water lilies floated gently along the water top.
Our final stop for the day was at the Mill Creek Banquets, located at 333 W Mill Street, in Wauconda Illinois 60084. After the couple’s entrance was announced they proceeded to cut the cake and feed a piece to each other. The cake was gorgeous, three layer of ivory sugary goodness.
Dinner was partnered with the traditional “love song” dedication by guests of the couple in order for the Beth and Justin to have a kiss. Finally, the evening continued with plenty of dancing, the bouquet toss and the garter toss.
Congrats Beth and Justin!
